#RestEasyBby - Holding The Holiday Blues
Free Yoga, Sound Bath, and Healing Circle for those navigating, loneliness, hurt, disappointment, or just seeking a restorative space
Holding the Holiday Blues is a FREE community event for those navigating loneliness, hurt, disappointment or just seeking a restorative space this holiday season. Participants are invited to a gentle yoga flow and calming sound bath, followed by a healing circle discussion that offers space to be seen, supported, and held in community. Together, we honor our bodies and emotions towards peace and renewal. Gentle Yoga Flow and Restorative Breathwork facilitated by Naadiya, and Calming South Bath and Healing Circle facilitated by Dr. Munazza.
This event is free form, feel free to pop in when you want and leave when you need to. However, we ask that people stay for the sound healing portion of our event as coming and leaving will be disruptive to fellow resters. There will be a break between the sound bath and the healing circle.
#RestEasyBby is a Black collective of wellness practioners rooted in healing justice. Our sessions are infused with the wisdom of Black Femme elders and ancestors, especially of the teachings of the Tricea Hershey (The Nap Bishop) with the intention of allowing for a space for rest and healing to sustain our lives and our liberation.
Extra masks and mats available! Donations are appreciated, but not required. All donations go to support our teachers, and facilitators. If you purchase a donation ticket, you do not need to get a free ticket (or vice versa).
